Ex-cop Bruce Daley was on phone to girlfriend ‘right before’ Brisbane tunnel crash which killed himself, Lily Galbraith

Daley and Galbraith were killed instantly, while McLean remains in a critical condition in Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The two young women were visiting Brisbane from interstate for a wedding.
Daley was a police officer of 25 years before his medically-enforced retirement in 2014, 7NEWS understands.
He had been working in the construction industry after his policing career.
